Thanks to John Hardie of the VGHM
the mystery of this previously unknown board has
been solved. He has an exact same board with
the ROM's marked DDT. Which is short for Dunion's
Debugging Tool. Designed by Atari employee Jim
Dunion, this was a must have tool when writing code
as it provided the coder with an assortment of
powerful features that aided in the debugging and
coding of software. There is
still the open mystery of who made these boards and
what there origins are. Perhaps made
internally within Atari by Atari employee's to help
each other or perhaps done outside of the company on
the side by an employee or friend of one.
